Part two: Finding her feet Total Children at start: 1

Harmony needed to find a new daddy quickly. Every day not pregnant was a day she aged. She went outside and spotted a townie walking down the street. He looked nice, was absolutely willing to help Harmony Try for a Baby after she flirted with him on the street for a few moments and didn’t want to hang around and chat afterwards. The perfect baby daddy.

Nice eyes, good traits and terrific hair. Daddy number 2: Khaled Mounib

Then Agate aged up into a toddler. Now came the hard part – raising his skills to level 3. Up until this point all my toddlers had been experiments in poor parenting. Harmony scoured the forums for advice, bought a toddler tablet and held her breath and began potty training – the quicker he was independent, the more time she would have to devote to the fun but important work – finding new and willing Daddies.

He’s cute but he rolled Clingy. Poor Harmony.

Harmony realised finding Daddies had to be co-ordinated like a military mission. Conceive day 1. Find new daddies and get their flirty level up to woohoo stage (have a woohoo or two if it helps) and call them up the day you deliver your baby to Try for a Baby. – No days lost to age. It sounded perfect. Men mess everything up!

Thanks to the magic of CAS – Agate grew thick luscious locks.

J. wouldn’t stop coming to the house to play with his son. He was fascinated by him. He kept on trying to help around the house. Harmony tried to explain that this was a game and there were rules but J. laughed in her face and accused her of crazy talk. He tried to cook when she was outside painting and he managed to burn half the kitchen down. (note to self – cheap gallery houses often have alarms but not sprinklers – remember to install sprinklers when you have money).

There is a reason for the rules stating the Daddies can’t do housework!

All of Harmony’s savings were used replacing the basics. She gardened and painted trying to recoup the loss. Then baby number 2 arrived Jet Mounid.

Harmony had set her sights on Bjorn Bjergsen as daddy number 3. He was attractive in a blonde and scandinavian way, a nice contrast to Daddy number 2. He had given her plenty of flirty signals. However, when it came time to seduce him, he would flirt like crazy then yell at her for flirting back.

You cost Harmony a day of her life with your stupid flirty games.

Harmony aged another day and the pressure to find a new Daddy worsened. She decided to put Bjorn on hold (he would be a Daddy – she would not accept this rejection!) and find someone willing to be seduced on a moments notice. All the men who had seemed a good idea were at work and couldn’t visit her lot. She was just about to cry when she saw the postman walk past her window. Problem solved in quite a cute man bun way.

He was sad because he hadn’t met Harmony yet.

In no time at all baby number 3 was begun. Thank you Daddy Number 3: Shane Westbrooke (by Origin ID: TheAllenCrew).

I enjoy the Sims a lot but I was never very good at toddlers and babies. What did I decide to do about it – create a sim to play the 100 babies challenge and surround myself with them. The rules I follow are those written by Snarky Witch : https://snarky-sims-witch.tumblr.com/post/181535303038/tos-i-am-the-original-writer-of-the-sims-4-version

Please be patient with the earlier posts in this blog. I was just learning to screenshot and with all the toddler raising, I forgot to snap many important moments. I get better as the play goes on. Surprisingly, this was the best way to learn what to do with toddlers – it was learn or fail. My other families have all benefited from Harmony’s struggles.

The leopard print and boots say “Hi I want to try for a Baby – no strings attached”- the hair says I am a practical motherly type.

First I needed a sim – enter Harmony. a newly minted young adult with features that are not to extreme in any respect and will hopefully blend well with the many suitors she meets. Her traits creative, romantic and family oriented. Then a cute little starter home from the gallery: Thank you ID: BettyBackWoods99. Your 3/1 base under 18k was perfect. And set it down in a cheap lot in Oasis Springs.

Home sweet home – now to fill it with children.

It didn’t take long for her to find her first baby daddy. Harmony had chosen to live next to the Roomies House. The welcome wagon arrived promptly and by the end of it Harmony had convinced J. Worthington III to Hang out for a while, have a first kiss and then a successful woohoo resulting in her very first pregnancy.

I have good genes and get flirty easily – my views on fruitcake were not recorded.
Perfect baby daddy no.1

Oasis Springs is the perfect hunting ground. People walk up and down the street all day long. She talked to any eligible male who walked past and rapidly filled up her little black book with potential baby daddies. Harmony also used her pregnancy to collect seeds, plant a garden and get started on painting canvases for sale.

They’re lovely when they’re sleeping.

Welcome baby number 1: Agate Worthington. Harmony decided to use rocks and minerals as a naming scheme. In no time at all Harmony was on the hunt for Baby Daddy number 2.
